Plot
Myra Devekar, a budding director is given a task by a producer to come up with a gripping and violent gangster story to produce a film. To satisfy the producer's commercial outlook and her hunger for making a realistic flick, she decides to study the life of a real-life gangster for the script. Her extensive research leads to menacing one-eyed "Bachchhan Paandey" of Baagwa, a ruthless gangster surrounded by quirky yet scary henchmen. Myra's discreet and secret attempts to research the life of Bachchhan Paandey fail miserably and she gets caught by the merciless gangster, for snooping.
Myra travels to Baagwa where she meets her friend Vishu and tells him about her film idea on Bachchhan Paandey. Vishu gets furious and asks her to leave but then decided to help her with the film. Both Vishu and Myra start to target the goons of Bachchhan Paandey namely, Kaandi, Bufferia Chacha, and Pendulum. Bufferia Chacha tries to tell them about his girlfriend Sophie but doesn't get any information. Later on Virgin, one of the goons tells them about Sophie who was shown to be killed by Bachchhan Paandey. Virgin is later on killed by Bachchhan Paandey as he was shown to betray him for leaking his information to Bachchhan Paandey enemy Rana. Vishu and Myra get to know everything through spying but Bachchhan Paandey catches them red-ended believing that they are spies of the police. Later on, Bachchhan Paandey discovers that Myra is directing a Biography on him. Myra and Vishu start working on the film and later on the script are completed. Vishu gets annoyed when he gets to know that his role is not there in the script. Bachchhan Paandey on the other hand tells that he will be the hero of his own film. Myra initially doesn't accept him in the role but Bachchhan Paandey threatens her to do so and also kidnaps her producer. In the story, the love story of Bachchhan
Paandey is shown in a flashback where he used to work for a politician who later on gets his girlfriend Sophie killed. The politician who killed Sophie was later on killed in hospital by Bachchhan Paandey. Kaandi and Pendulum tell Vishu and Myra that Bachchhan Paandey was not responsible for killing Sophie but the corrupt politician was responsible for the concerned matter. Bachchhan Paandey and his goons don't know how to do acting which they learn through a teacher Bhavesh Bhoplo. Bhavesh many times slapped Bachchhan Paandey and also made them feel insulted but Myra still insisted on not harming him so that he can be the hero of the film and people get scared of him.
The film is completed by Myra and is released in the theatres. Bachchhan Paandey and goons initially get excited and promote the film named "BP". The film made on Bachchhan Paandey is shown to be a comedy side of him which makes Bachchhan Paandey and goons very furious. On the other hand, Myra's film is proved to be a hit and gets praise from her media and her director who used to often criticize her a lot. Bachchhan Paandey and goons decide to kill her for making his fear in people vanish but later on, refrain from him as Bachchhan Paandey gets evolved by heart and narrates her story that his ears were ringing to hear from her mother calling him and also his fans get impressed by him. Bachchhan Paandey, later on, becomes a star, and Kaandi gives up his habit of watching porn films. Bhavesh Bhoplo becomes the best acting teacher and Bachchhan Paandey gets recognized as a best comedy actor with Myra as best director.
